Introduction
We're finally getting married!
After months of planning, phone calls, tastings and many miles driven, we are here in Traverse City, Michigan to get married. We love Northern Michigan very much but realize that it's not very convenient for everyone else. To show our thanks we decided to have a pre-wedding party/rehearsal for our guests. My mom (Karen) found this great art museum on the campus of Northwestern Michigan College in Traverse City. Not only was it close to everything but it was awesome! After running around all day like chickens with no heads... we were ready to celebrate. We got to the museum and were blown away by everything. Besides the setting, the catering was top notch! It was quite comfortable and such a great atmosphere. Thank you to all who made it! We had some kick ass photographers who were able to come to the rehearsal as well. Below are the pictures.

Introduction
The day is here!
I know it didn't really set in for me until the time I woke up Sunday morning. All the hard work everybody had accomplished was ready to be enjoyed. It was a very exciting morning! The bridal party met at Mission Table around 2 to get ready. Here are the pictures

Introduction
The Jewish legal marriage document. It is one of the oldest elements of the Jewish wedding ceremony, and acted as a prenuptial agreement of sorts, protecting the bride from hardship. The modern adaptation of the Ketubah more reflects the understanding of marriage as a partnership based in love and commitment, not legality. It is signed by two witnesses, who are not related to the couple. Beautifully designed, this piece of art is considered to be a prized memento of the wedding. It is usually framed and prominently displayed in the couple's home. Below are pictures taken during the signing of the Ketubah.

Introduction
We chose Mission Table for our wedding for various reasons but none more important than the location and view available during the wedding ceremony. They have a clearing on the front of their property that overlooks Grand Traverse Bay which is nothing short of breathtaking. Granted most of Northern Michigan in late summer is beautiful but the prospect of being close to the water with their vineyards in the background was perfect for us. Below are pictures of the wedding party and our families. Enjoy!

Introduction
We met Rabbi Seth a few times prior to the Wedding. It was a little difficult being as he lived in Boston, we were in Kalamazoo and his office was in Traverse City. Given the distance between us, and with Skype's help we were able to communicate and plan our ceremony. Overall we were extremely lucky to have found Rabbi Seth and are very thankful that he was able to help construct such a beautiful ceremony consistent with what we wanted and also Jewish tradition.

Introduction
The Peninsula Room at Mission Table was perfect for our reception. It was back behind the vineyards and split with a brewery. If only that door was unlocked! The food and drinks were spectacular and overall ended up being an amazing night!
